During a recent interview with Malika Andrews of ESPN, Stephen Curry spoke about the various aspects of his life. Starting from basketball to his legacy, Stephen Curry poured his heart out during the conversation. He even pointed out about the much-hyped collaboration with the Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. He said-
“Probably not. I think the what ifs and all that type of stuff you kind of just leave that for whatever platform people want to talk about it.”
Just three months before, when both Stephen Curry and LeBron James came together for the first time in the jersey of Team USA, only to win gold for the country during the 2024 Olympics. The NBA fans were already excited and even expected the most talented duo to be together in the future.
Stephen Curry On His Great Bond With The Lakers Star LeBron James
During an exclusive interview with the famous entertainment outlet People, back in September, Stephen Curry spoke about his relationship with LeBron James. In between the conversation, 36-year-old Golden State Warriors icon mentioned that he was ready to keep aside any former rivalry only and collaborate with LeBron James. He said-
“All the battles we’ve had on the court and the back and forth, the fact that we actually got to be teammates, not just in any game like an All-Star game or whatever, but in high stakes basketball with a lot on the line…I think there’s a deepened respect and friendship there,”
He further added-
“Hopefully, there will be more experiences in the future, even if we’re teammates or not. I posted the picture of us holding our medals. There’s a sense of pride being an Olympian, and for him, I know he’s done it before but it’s been a minute since 2012 when he played,”
According to Curry, the two basketball icons still have to compete against one another until and unless its all over between them. Despite being one of the most talked about NBA stars of the current era, both Curry and LeBron James are a perfect example of sportsmanship.
